Lowestoft Town legend Micky Chapman grateful to Norwich City for 'emotional' testimonial Chpaman decided to step away after 33 years with the Trawlerboys as player and manager two years ago, after Conference North safety was secured in the club's first season at step two of the non league pyramid.
His testimonial was due to be played in pre season last summer but a downpour saw everyone have to head home as the Crown Meadow pitch was waterlogged. The Trawlerboys boss had positive news on the centre back's condition though, saying: "Travis was checked over at hospital and was later sent home. He had mild concussion and has a stiff neck but is fine. "We would like to thank the Norwich City medical staff for their excellent assistance." Speaking after the match, Gallagher said: "The workout was excellent for our lads, they worked their socks off from start to finish. "I thought they did really well, first half particularly. Naturally we ran out of steam but we didn't have a massive squad, we had a lot of young lads on the bench so we drip fed them into the game burberry portland oregon during the second half, but I thought the lads did fantastic really."
